Yamaha Enduro HELP! (won't keep running and where to get parts)?

So I just picked up a 1982 175 yamaha enduro but it will just not stay running. YES we have completely cleaned the carb and checked the spark plug and it will start and if you keep on the gas it will stay running a little longer. Any ideas and where oh where can I get parts for it? I've been scouring the web with no luck and yes I have looked on bikebandit.com. Does anyone have any SPECIFIC links to parts for this bike? Thanks in advanceYamaha Enduro HELP! (won't keep running and where to get parts)?
Have you checked spark? Ride until the bike dies, then check for spark. If you've got spark, then it's probably not an electrical problem. If there's no spark, then it's most likely the CDI unit.

If it has spark, then it could be a broken piston ring, or just a worn out cylinder. Doing a compression test on a two stroke is really difficult, so I can't recommend that. In most cases, a worn cylinder or piston will make the engine have a pronounced rattle when you first start the bike, and the rattle will get quieter as the bike warms up.

I couldn't find any source for online parts microfiche for this bike either, but your local Yamaha dealer will have it. There may be parts that have been discontinued though.Yamaha Enduro HELP! (won't keep running and where to get parts)?

Old bikes can have crank seal leaks, check them just to be sure.
