What workout is best for basketball season?

Ive been playing basketball for 6 years and I want to get back in shape before the season starts. What workout should I do. I feel like I'm not doing enough. Ive been starting to jog a mile and a half about every day. I'm still concerned of how I'm not really fit. What workout is best for basketball season?

Jogging is a good start, but you are right is not enough. In basketball, you need the ability to sprint as well. I would recommend continuing the jogging but add in sprints (suicides or something similar) 3 days a week. What workout is best for basketball season?
running isn't the only thing you have to do, you should do some basket ball drills and play games with friends to get the feel of the game again before you get back in there.
