Water pump problems on my dirt bike?

on bikiebandit.com on, http://www.bikebandit.com/suzuki-motorcycle-rm80k1-2001/o/m6636, on crankcase cover 1 row down if you don't have the circlip #23 attached to the water pump # 19 and the water pump is knocked out of place, the circlip is attached to the end of the water pump, Will It start making a clicking sound, like when you spin a ratchet back wards? The sound is made in perfecting timing with the engine and you can hear the clicking sound even when the engine is pinned, loud, I'm also pretty sure that the engine will over heat, since the pump isn't spinning. Please tell if you know.Water pump problems on my dirt bike?
The clip holds the the water pump in place.

Without the clip, the impeller will slide out of the case and grind against the water pump cover.

The blades will eventually break off and clog up the cooling system.

do not pump tires with water. just air or it runs badly.Water pump problems on my dirt bike?
If the bike is designed to run with a water pump, then yes it will overheat without the added cooling of the antifreeze running thru to help cool the engine.

What is making the noise-the waterpump or the engine? Having a hard time following your question and your statement about something somewhere is making a noise.
