You just have to practice alot on your driveway or at your school or somewhere that there is a basketball hoop and like practice every day for about 1 hour. And just practice dribbling, shooting, lay ups, free throws, and different moves. With shooting, pick some spots that you would like to try out and shoot there until you make quite a few of them and everything just practice them alot because the more the practice the better you are. Hoped I helped!!How to become good at basketball?
Shooting, ball handling finishing and the other half which would be fitness.

For shooting you can start with form shooting then work on ft's and shooting off the catch. If you dont have someone to help you out spin the ball out and chase it. You should also work on shooting off the dribble especially work on a front stop which is stoping on 1 foot instead of a jump stop. Some shooting tips are keep the ball on the pads of your fingers, release the ball in one rythm, dont have a pause in your shot. and extend your elbow up when you shoot for arch.

For finishing you can do mikan drill you can work on post moves, right hand and left hand layups etc. Remember to extend fully on layups, and high off the glass

For ball handling: the best things you can do are pounds, low speed dribbles push pulls crossover between the legs behind the back etc. search these on youtube and there will be demonstrations.

Once you have improved your skills play in pickup games and try to join a team.

For working out you should do upper body and vertical/ quickness

hope this helps
At your skill level practice 2-3 hours a day 4-5 times a week work on shooting around 700-800 shots a day in various places shoot 200 free throws a day work on ball-handling 30 minutes+ a day. Play pickup games to work on defense and watch basketball whenever you can it will help your overall knowledge of te game. How to become good at basketball?
No you should study the game first and know what your doing. Read books and watch professionals play. I know guys who played basketball for 3 years who are way better than guys who played for 5 years.

shooting form

dribbling

defense

rebounding

driving

search those key points on youtube and apply the information you learned to when you practice outside.
practice, practice, practice. Practice dribbling and especially free throws. You can play pickup games to work on defense. Choose a couple of spots and work on shooting from there. If you can get those down, then at least you can be counted on to shoot from those spots. Being good at a few spots is better than being mediocre everywhere.
Practice works. Also, my coach taught me this trick for shooting. Roll the ball only off of your first finger, and put your thumb and that finger together in your follow through thingie. I know this is hard to understand, but youtube lebron shooting, and pay close attention to his fingers!
Practice dribbling bro..you have to love the ball with a PASSION before you shoot it.. usally when you have good handles you are more confident in your shot. so go on youtube and look up some vids
Practice makes perfect and try your best.
