What can I do with my hair everyday after sweaty and long basketball practices to keep wrapping it?

By time I get home from basketball practice, my hair is hard and dry even if I greased it the night before. Its breaking off because I don't grease it every night. I can't get braids because if I don't grease it regularly, I don't grease it but once the whole time I have braids. What can I do to keep my hair from looking like a troll's head the next day? What can I do with my hair everyday after sweaty and long basketball practices to keep wrapping it?
the more i hear the word grease is the more i wanna cringe....grease is one of the major problems....why u might b asking????? because on of its main ingrediets is PETROLEUM/MINERAL OIL......totally bad of any body's hair........wtf is she talkin about ur thinkin right?????? well get this.......these petro chemicals are absolutely bad for the hair b/c it clogs the hair folicle and stunts hair growth as these are drying alcohols....what ur lacking is moisture and lots of it....unfortunately most ethnic products contain cheap oils that coat and weigh hair down and non-ethnic products are just as bad for ethnic hair as it dries the hair also.....so what does this mean and where does this leave u ur wondering right???? what ur hair needs is loads of natural and quality ingredients such as certified organic aloe leaf juice, pure coconut milk, mango, shea and murmur butter, jojoba, avocado and coconut oil, a host of exotic extracts (e.g. Ho Shu Wu, Green Tea, Arnica, Chamomile, and Calendula extract), olive oil, vitamin e and more.....sounds like a lot i know but if u cant afford to buy products from the site which i will give u in a min then u could buy these products (well some of them)in a mart near u and do hot oil treatments regularly and moisture masks they r really good.

firstly im not entirely sure on ur hair type and if its natural or relaxed but im guessing its relaxed (if im wrong plz still check out the sites) u could try using:

from blended-beauty.com;

soy cream shampoo...a little goes a long way and it is gentil enough to use daily (not that i advise this but its an option) this is to cleanse......the next is to condition cleansing conditioner or quenching conditioner the choice is urs they tell u in more detail which is best......to moisturise use conditioning spritz/happy nappy/even butter me up...these can be used as a sub. for grease.....to style if your hair is relaxed then use the straight pearl and straightening glaze it helps when ur styling ur hair with a hot iron as it protects and for the oils treatment u have natural hair oil these are good products alternatively u could use curls products at:

curls.biz and to cleanse=cleansing cream.....condition=asian hair tea conditioner v. good for damaged/colour treated hair and can be used as a leave in....to moisturize=quenched curls moisturizer/milkshake..style=souffle/whi… cream/glaze/spiral curls cream/elixer and to oil they have the pomegranate hair oil..........these are the products i alternate between but u might find others that u may like the sound of more at:

naturallycurly.com

hope this helps

=)
First off, you have to keep your hair clean and conditioned. Even though your hair is sweating a lot it shouldn't be that dry. Find a good shampoo and conditioner ( I recommend Motions Lavish Conditioning Shampoo and Motions Silicone based Condtioner). I am deployed to Iraq, where it is very dry and I work out and my hair sweat a lot, but my hair is still soft and managable everyday. What can I do with my hair everyday after sweaty and long basketball practices to keep wrapping it?
stop using grease. for one grease is heavy and clogs the pores of your scalp which in turns prevents it from growing to its potential. for braids use a good oil sheen thats a little lighter. i use oragnic root stimulators' olive oil oil sheen. pretty much try to try your hair up during practive to prevent fizzing. if its down opt for pony tails until the season is over.
Gel, ALOT of GEL!What can I do with my hair everyday after sweaty and long basketball practices to keep wrapping it?
Use a fine thick/thin grease, wrap your hair up everynight in a cap. And if the morning your hair will be soft as a babies butt!

Do that EVERYNIGHT! Good Luck!
Shorty is sooo right.I don't grease my scalpat all.I am licensed so i know. The scalp is actually alive, and it can't breathe with all that crap clogging it up!I reccomend olive oil, olive oil sheen(no alcohol)and cholesterol for deep conditioning. You should try pantene for relaxed and natural hair(in the bronze bottle)Remember a great hairstyle starts with a great cut,to insure the dead and broken ends are outta there, that alone will make your hair look and feel oh so dry! Then you should try a body wrap, set with big rollers you can let the curl fall naturally and then dry wrap later in the week. But you should get it started with the help of a professional, and then take over yourself. Many times it is to late to try and do it yourself.Stop sufficating your scalp!
try biosilk it is serum for any hair type is makes it smooth and silky
well you could wear a hair net. or spray with hair spray.
Shave it off.

relax it.

wear a hat.

it shud be kool what ever
