Is there a way for computers to receive walkie-talkie radio signals?

Can you either buy a receiver for a computer to pick up walkie-talkie signals, or somehow pick them up with some type of Wi-Fi-enabled device? I want the walkie-talkie air wave audio signals to show up as an audio input device on my computer so I can record and broadcast them, etc. Is there a way to do this on either a PC or Mac?Is there a way for computers to receive walkie-talkie radio signals?
What frequencies or frequency do you want to be able to receive?

There are some scanners that is controlled by your computer. There are also a number of amateur (ham) radio receivers that are computer controlled. However if you plan to transmit with one of these you will need to get your license first.
