I'm 15 years old, and I was playing around with an FRS walkie talkie this weekend while fishing in a boat on a lake. I talked to a number of other kids ages 11 to 16, boys and girls. All strangers, of course, but it was fun! I was thinking that these would be the perfect alternative for kids who don't have cell phones or their parents refuse to pay their kids' bills for them. Since most kids go to public school, they would all live within talking range of each other.Have any of you ever played with an FRS walkie-talkie and talked to other kids on them?
Yeh i did once. They asked me if i had "the beer"
