Can a computer call a walkie talkie?

Is there any software or site that allows a computer to call a walkie talkie? Can a computer call a walkie talkie?
Walkie Talkies operate on a different radio frquency from computers or cell phones. I am not aware of any way that a computer could send or receive on the W/T channels without some kind of a add on card. (I have never seen such a card.) Nor am I aware of any kind of wide area network that would broadcast in the W/T channels from the Internet. The reason W/Ts are given the channels they have are becasue they are short range frequencies, and not usable for wide area broadcast. Can a computer call a walkie talkie?
No, you will ned a radio frequency transceiver which is capable of receiving and sending within the range of the walkie talkie, and then the appropriate software to manage that. Can a computer call a walkie talkie?
Not without a transmitter built in to the computer.
