I'm working on a book and want to know when high school boys basketball season starts. when are tryouts, is it a class period or just an after school. I need to know what state the information is for, also any other information would be great.

Im in kentucky and we dont really have tryouts but the season starts at the end of novermber around the 21st.. We have practice after school.. But the city next to us has it as a class period.,, depends on school about practice and tryouts. but my school is really good so we dont have tryouts.When does high school boys basketball season start?
mine just started on monday and they are after school i reside in kenosha wisconsin and our coach puts school befor basketball im sixteen by the way hope this helps good luck on the book
