when dribbling, keep your head up obviously. with that in mind you need good peripheral vision. i dont know of any drills but you can try to look straight ahead of you and then without turning your head or moving your eyes describe the things within your eyesight. then when on the court know where you are in relation to the ball and use the same idea, keep your head up and whatever direction you look take into account whats in total sight. more importantly, keep your head and eyes moving so you can anticipate things before they are likely to happen.
hope it helps, keep working and good luck.....
best way is to be able to keep your head up and not looking at the ball when dribbling...The best drill i used in helping with this is putting on a device, I used it in high school, dont know name of it but imagine a visor just below your eyes. It was a strap that went around your head with like a rim in front that sat just below your eyes. It allowed you to dribble and do basketball drills without seeing the ball and helped you see everything around you. What is a good way to develop better court vision when playing basketball?
work on some dribbling drills first, and then ask a coach or someone u kno that knows how to play basketball, and ask them for help about that
ye when u dribble keep your head up and never lok at the ball or turn around if u do close the ball in so u wont get strippedWhat is a good way to develop better court vision when playing basketball?
You should try to look up and focus on your players, my advice is to buy the dribble specs. they dont allow you to look at the ball when dribbling they sell it in academy.
