How do I put a basketball rim in the ground?

How do you put a basketball rim in the ground? My rolly broke because of a bad storm. I have the pole and the rim.How do I put a basketball rim in the ground?
Well your rolly rim was already set at a specified height, so putting this pole %26amp; rim in the ground will lower your rim, %26amp; if you wanna go that route, fine, but if not, you'll have to find another way than just "digging a hole".

You'll need to find another pole to go inside your current pole inorder for it to be stable, or find a pole that is larger, but something to stop the pole to set it inside so it doesn't slide inside the larger pole.

Next, you'll need a bubble level to ensure your pole is perpendicular at an exact 90 degree angle to the ground, if not, you're just wasting your time, as the rim will be off, %26amp; you'd be better off with just buying another rolly rim.

Once you've ensured you have enough pole to get the rim to 10' in height, then you can:

Dig your hole %26amp; set your over/under sized pole, fill it back up, %26amp; level it, if your using concrete, let it set before you push the pole into the ground. once set, level the pole %26amp; let the concrete dry, %26amp; then add your pole from the rolly rim.How do I put a basketball rim in the ground?
Just guessing here, but ummm...if you want a rim in the ground, wouldn't you just dig a hole, put the rim in and fill it back in with dirt? Then your rim would be in the ground, right? How do I put a basketball rim in the ground?
ok. first u have to dig a hole in the ground, make shur it is deep enough. if u dont make it deep and put the pole in, and if i strom comes the pole will fall down. so just make it is enough so that the wind wont blow it down. den u have to put the pole in. then take cement and pour it in the hole, but not too much where it over flows. den u put the dirt over it. thats all u have to do. good luck man. hope this helped.
