There is at least one girl who is out here in the apparently male dominated basketball section.A few options-
Depending on your state rules head bands are a easy solution. I know in Florida, where I played all the girls on the team had to have the same color head band and they had to be a certain color. Either the ones you buy in the store or buy a roll of pre wrap. it will cost about 5 bucks. I buy a brand Muller. Its easy-you just unroll a piece then tear it off and tie and you have an instant disposable head band.
You are right-bobby pins and hard clips are not allowed. A girl on my team. I attached a picture. She used bobby pins but just kept them out of sight. This look might work for you. http://www.cupcakestastenice.com/wp-cont鈥?/a> granted she didn't pull it back into a pony tail.
Good luck

How do I tie my hair up when playing basketball ?those big hair bands that look stretched out because
there head bands instead.. there still like regular hair bands
but larger for your whole head to push hair back.. tie your hair
not to high not to low so it grabs most of the layered-ness.
then use 1 or 2 of those stretchy whole hair - hairbands..
(including the bangs) *basketball player of 8 years with layered hair*
haha hope i helped 鈾?/div>
We used to use little rubberbands to make little ponytails then combine those ponytails into bigger ones and those into bigger ones. It looks neat too!How do I tie my hair up when playing basketball ?
Push your bangs completely off your face and use a head band. It may look funny but you'll be in the clear.
Use a "net"
rubberband
