Canada and USA have strong ties and professional basketball and baseball from the US have established teams in Canada. Should the NFL do so too? And if so what city or cities would you recommend and Why?For Canadians - as US baseball and basketball should the NFL also establish one or more Canadian teams?
It has to do with popularity, if you don't fill the stadium you're NOT going to get a team. That has been the problem with having teams outside of the US.
But, to your question. Yes, we should give Canada a try. The best place would be Quebec, where the CFL is the most popular. Looks like they are starving for football.
Football is the second most popular sport in Canada behind hockey. So Yeah NFL in Toronto would work. I however would hate that since the cost of tickets would be ridiculous and a team in Toronto would most likely be the end of the Buffalo Bills and team I currently have season tickets with.
I do however believe the CFL and NFL can co-exist in Canada. For Canadians - as US baseball and basketball should the NFL also establish one or more Canadian teams?
what do you mean? an extra team in the NFL? no way!!!!!the divisions are already set up and everything is perfect the way it is. the divisions would have to be re arranged. good question though
Football is kind of America's sport. Granted so is baseball, but football is the new pastime. Let the US fight for the superbowl. For Canadians - as US baseball and basketball should the NFL also establish one or more Canadian teams?
Any teams created in Canada would probably join the CFL. All the sponsorships would kind of shun them if they didn't endorse Canadian products and businesses.
yeah. im from the states but with every other sport in canada why not give toronto a team like in baseball, hockey and basketball
