This looks like a very young healthy Grey to me. But only the vet could tell you for sure. I also agree with the first answer. A Grey is not the best pet for a beginner. These birds are very prone to screaming and behavior issues, if not tamed correctly. And especially because this bird is not hand tame, I would strongly suggest buying a smaller easier bird, such as a budgie or cockatiel. For African Grey Experts ( images inside )?
No offense, african grey is the worst kind of parrot for a beginner. There's really no way you can tell it's age by a picture, the vet might be able to. However you just have to get him used to you and for him to like you, feed him treats and talk to him, bribe him to like you basically. For African Grey Experts ( images inside )?
you shouldnt EVER get an impulse animal odds are he is traumatized and was mistreated abd i can tell he isnt a baby and honey will do nothing for the biting and he is screaming cause he is scared cover the cage with a blanket put him is a quiet room ad leave him alone for a bit he should calm down
