Is it okay to dress business casual to an internship interview?

I am a female. I have an internship interview at a marketing office tomorrow and am considering two outfits. The first is a very traditional gray suit that I hate because I feel stuffy in it and too serious. The other is a very smart casual business dress outfit (pants, top and jacket).

Having just had an interview a couple of weeks ago, I went through this myself. I would just consider where it is you are interviewing, what do they wear?? Look at what they wear and dress a step up from that. I would assume employees of a marketing office at the very least are business casual. So, I think you'd be safe in either outfit....if it were me I'd want to be comfortable because they can tell if you are not. Personally i'd probably wear a pair of slacks, blouse and jacket....as long as they are an appropriate color. Good Luck!!Is it okay to dress business casual to an internship interview?
It is always best to dress for success. Professional dress, even though you may feel a bit stuffy and serious in it, it is the first impression that counts. Consider an internship interview the same as a job interview. Is it okay to dress business casual to an internship interview?
It's fine to dress a bit more casual at a marketing firm because they tend to be more on the creative side anyway so it's perfectly appropriate to do so.

Good luck!
Go with the Suffy. You are supposed to dress for the Job higher then the one you are applying for.
